Promotional video of a recent school extension project in Dover, Kent produced for Willmott Dixon

Earlier this year Horizon Imaging was commissioned to produce another promotional video for national construction firm Willmott Dixon who we have worked with on a number of projects in the past. This time we were asked to document a number of extensions and landscape alterations at the Dover Christ Church Academy in Dover, Kent. The video will be used at internal staff meetings to illustrate the variety of work Willmott Dixon undertakes, providing a particularly valuable insight to those members of staff who were not directly involved in the Dover Christ Church Academy project. 

 

Aside from having to document certain key features of the site, the brief for the video was left entirely open, allowing us to decide how to best portray the site, and how to use a mixture of ground and aerial footage to best illustrate the work that had been carried out. By combining aerial overview footage of the site taken with our drone, and static / panning shots taken at ground-level, the result is a short video that captures every external element of the project in an easily-digestible format.
