National construction firm Willmott Dixon have used our services a number of times over the last few months to document some of their recently completed projects across the South East of the UK.
The latest two sites to be filmed were Bohunt School in Worthing, West Sussex and Warfield School in Warfield, Berkshire. The brief for both of the videos was the same – produce a 2-3 minute promotional video comprising both aerial and ground-based footage, that would give someone who hasn’t visited the site before an idea of the scale and complexity of the work that had been undertaken.
The Warfield School site was fairly straight forward to film as the site was still owned by Willmott Dixon (it was in the very last stages of construction) and so they were able to give me permission to fly the drone from the site. The Bohunt school site was similar, although for the opening ‘reveal’ shot it required getting the permission of a neighbouring cricket ground in order to fly the drone from their site.
